You drive along the motorway A14. Between Leipzig and Dresden you have to leave at the junction for Grimma (as seen above). From this town you get to Colditz by driving along the road "B 107".

By plane and train
The closest airports are Leipzig and Dresden. A shuttle bus connects Dresden airport with its main train station. A shuttle train connects Leipzig airport with its main train station. From Dresden you take a train to Leipzig. There are two ways to get here from Leipzig. Either you take a train to Grossbothen and then change for a bus shuttle to Colditz. Or, you take a bus from Leipzig, that takes you to Colditz directly.
