some short uphill stretches, you bike on side roads, field paths, bike paths; some traffic in/out of cities.

ROUTE:
Day 1: Sesto al Reghena
Individual arrival.
Day 2: Sesto al Reghena - San Daniele (approx. 50 km/31 miles)
Through the wide plain of the river Tagliamento to San Daniele, where you may have the chance to try the famous "Prosciutto di San Daniele" (raw ham).
Day 3: San Daniele - Cividale (approx. 55 km/34 miles)
Take your time to discover Udine - the city between the Mediterranean Sea and the Alps - until you reach the city of the Langobards - Cividale.
Day 4: Cividale - Gorizia (approx. 36 km/23 miles)
After leaving Cividale you reach the vineyards of the "Collio" - a hilly region which can be compared to Tuscany.
Day 5: Gorizia - Grado/Aquileia (approx. 58 km/36 miles)
You are leaving Gorizia, a divided city between Italy and Slovenia and reach the wonderful sandy beaches of Grado at the Adriatic Sea.
Day 6: Grado/Aquileia - Pineta Lido di Jesolo (approx. 64 km/40 miles)
The plains of the Laguna of Caorle and endless beaches are your today's companions.
Day 7: Pineta Lido di Jesolo - Sesto al Reghena (approx. 53 km/33 miles)
Enjoy your last bike tour today along small rivers and canals returning to Sesto al Reghena.
Day 8: Sesto al Reghena
Individual departure or extension.
